DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the proportions of an important historic chair of 1933, the “GIO” chair is rectilinear and charming.
CONSTRUCTION
The frame is made of handcrafted kiln dried maple and hard woods, double doweled and glued to create a rigid, durable structure. Basket-woven webbing within the seat deck is designed to maintain a low design profile while offering maximum comfort and support. The seat cushion is fabricated of high resilience foam wrapped in an envelope of feather and down. The inside arms and back are accentuated with self-welt.
