DESCRIPTION

Edelman has reinterpreted a design first seen at the 1930 exhibit of Salon Des Artistes Decorateurs. Strong lines and full proportions define this historic design.

CONSTRUCTION

The frames are made of handcrafted kiln dried maple and hard woods, double doweled and glued to create a rigid, durable structure. Traditional eight-way hand-tied coil springs are positioned within the framework of the seat deck to ensure maximum comfort and support. The seat cushion is made of high resilience foam wrapped in an envelope of feather and down. Tight inside back and arm panels have layered foam over a basket-woven web support.
